As its Halloween this week; my film of the week is Drag Me to Hell – a chilling horror, about a loan officer (Alison Lohman) who is the unlucky recipient of a supernatural curse.
With the help of physic Rham Jas, Christine desperately fights against the evil forces.
Drag Me to Hell contains some excellent special effects and is well balanced with some good comedy; a good watch for the Halloween festivities!
Trick ‘R Treat
Another horror treat is released to DVD just in time for Halloween. Trick ‘R Treat interweaves four scary tales; a high school principal moonlighting as a vicious serial killer, a college virgin trying to save herself for that special someone, a group of teens who love to play tricks and a women who hates Halloween with a passion.
Thrills and chills a plenty – entertaining and worth a watch!
Fired Up – DVD
If you don’t like the scary Halloween movies then why not try Fired Up – an American Pie style teen comedy with lots of laughs.
When two randy high school boys trick their way into the Cheerleader summer camp; their sexy comedy adventure begins. This film predictably contains sleaze, raunch, and over-the-top hilarity. An easy watch DVD with some big laughs!
Monsters vs. Aliens
An epic animated adventure for all the family; with voice-overs from Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen and Hugh Laurie.
When California girl Susan Murphy is transformed in a 50 foot tall monster – she is instantly labeled a monster and rounded up by the military. Susan is cruelly imprisoned in monster jail; until she is needed to fight an alien invasion by the President.
Will this motley crew of monsters save the world? Find out in this great family DVD.
Also released to DVD the week are:

Fired UP is very funny and the cheerleaders are hot! The film is a bit predictable and doesn’t require much concentration – but I enjoyed it all the same. An easy watch with plenty of laughs.
