Top 10 Romantic DVD’s of the 80’s – Part 1

The 1980’s was a great decade for romantic movies and includes everyones favourite Dirty Dancing! I also have a special fondness for Gregory’s Girl which was endlessly repeated on the television when I was growing up.

Unfortunately we didn’t have DVD’s back in the day, but luckily you can now buy or rent these classics films on DVD – no need to search the loft for that old Betamax player.

Dirty Dancing (1987)

One of my favourite movies of all time; Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey star in this fantastic DVD classic. A fabulous soundtrack and sexy dance sequences make this film unmissable!.

When Harry Met Sally (1989)

Gregory’s Girl (1980)
